Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi form a mutualistic symbiotic association with more than 80% ofland plants, including vines. Advantages of this mutualistic symbiosis are countless. Rootcolonisation by mycorrhizal fungi is mainly evaluated through staining and microscopicobservation.
